QPR bring Aston Villa defender in on trial

A report from West London Sport has said that Championship outfit Queens Park Rangers have moved to bring 21-year-old defender Easah Suliman in on trial from Premier League club Aston Villa.

Queens Park Rangers have offered a trial to Aston Villa defender Easah Suliman, bringing him into the development squad for a game against Coventry City at the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium today (Friday afternoon).

He started the game for Paul Hall’s side but was unable to guide the team to a win, as the Sky Blues ran away 2-1 winners in the game at Loftus Road.

Suliman has been playing his football this season in the Aston Villa Under-23s side, making nine appearances at centre-back in the Premier League 2 as well as in the EFL Trophy in defeats to Salford City and Tranmere Rovers.

The vast majority of his football has been played for the Under-23s in his career so far, but he has also spent time out on loan to gain senior experience. He has spent time on loan with Cheltenham Town (12 appearances and one assist) and Grimsby Town (two appearances) as well as time in Holland with FC Emmen, featuring for their senior team (four appearances) and their Under-21s side (eight appearances).

Suliman has also played once for Aston Villa’s senior side, making a substitute appearance in the EFL Cup against Wigan Athletic back in 2017.

The youngster is also vastly experienced for England at youth level, representing the Under-16s, Under-17s, Under-18s, Under-19s and Under-20s on a number of occasions, appearing 46 times in total for the Young Lions.
